About Me

I am a fully licensed psychotherapist with 10+ years of experience working in mental health. I graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Psychology, History, and Religion. I proceeded to work in research investigating the impact of mindfulness interventions on health related quality of life in men with prostate cancer and women with breast cancer. This research also investigated body-based inflammation as an indicator of mental health outcomes. Thereafter, I transitioned into working in sexual health at Center on Halsted, focused specifically on HIV care for cisgender gay men and trans-identified clients.

I received my MA in Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I practice from a psychoanalytic framework with specific interest in how our early experiences shape the relationships we build with ourselves and others.

In addition to working with clients individually and in groups, I supervise emerging therapists as they complete their clinical hours toward licensure, teach at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and facilitate group relations conferences.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active (running, lifting, and yoga), reading, cooking for myself and others, traveling, and investing in my relationships.
